Live from Crest at Mount Tabor
Live from the pressbox at Mount Tabor High School. We're about one hour from kickoff here in Winston-Salem and the temperature is dropping ... it's 45 now with the forecast set to be in the high 30s by game time.
Crest is in its white tops with green numbers with green pants with gold helmets. Mount Tabor is in its blue tops with gold letters with gold pants and blue helmets.
The Crest band made the trip and the cheerleaders are on the sideline. There's already a pretty good Charger contingency in their seats on the visitors side. The teamline.cc broadcasting crew are setting up their stuff on the top of an RV beside the visitors stands.
Note: Mount Tabor assistant coach Chad Sapp (defensive backs) is the only current member of the Spartans coaching staff that was on the staff during the 1994 playoff thriller at Crest, won by the Chargers. Sapp was a student assistant and statistician that year for Tabor.
