Set up in the Crest pressbox about 30 minutes before kickoff for the 40th edition of the Shelby-Crest rivalry battle.

It's tight quarters here in the pressbox at Sid Bryson Stadium, but I'll try to keep this updated as much as possible.

Be sure to check out Star photographer Jeff Melton's blog for photos from the game.

I told Todd Blanton that it was on him today. The O line will be crucial tonight. Update me on some line play as I listen to the boys of teamline.

As of late Friday night, over 1,600 people checked in on the Shelby vs. Crest and score updates. As always, thanks to everyone for visiting the blog last night and come on back next week!

I will have some follow-up notes from the game in my Monday column, which I will also post on the blog.

Joseph ... Raper is incredibly quick and is also proving he can make big plays as a receiver as well as he has two long TD catches in three games this season. He's a tough matchup for most DB's one-on-one.
With essentially two more years to grow as a player, there's no reason to think he can't be a solid performer for Clemson.
