I know the Senator from Nebraska voted for the war, but good to see someone not walking the party lines ... He definitely deserves a "Harrumph." Just a brief quote ...

"We better be damn sure we know what we're doing, all of us, before we put 22,000 more Americans into that grinder," he said.

A Vietnam War veteran, Hagel did not hesitate to draw a parallel with another dark episode of the U.S. history. This strategy is "the most dangerous foreign policy blunder in this country since Vietnam."
